java - ViewPager and Sliding Menu swipe propagation -

in android app using sliding menu left: https://github.com/jfeinstein10/slidingmenu

inside 1 of activity, have viewpager:

<android.support.v4.view.viewpager       android:id="@+id/image_pager"       android:layout_width="match_parent"       android:layout_height="match_parent" />

i load multiple images view in pager adapter scroll between them.

however facing conflict in scrolling.

when swipe left works fine, next image gets displayed.

but when swipe right, sliding menu open, since behavior.

can make in way swiping on view pager not propagate sliding menu?

i tried return true in ontouchlistener of pager, sliding menu still opening, , slider doesn't work anymore.

            viewpager.setontouchlistener(new ontouchlistener() {          @override         public boolean ontouch(view v, motionevent event) {             // todo auto-generated method stub             return true;         }     });

the feinstein slidingmenu can configured reacts gestures begin @ edge of screen. should allow other handler sole delegate of swipes originate anywhere not on extreme edge of screen.

i believe can set these in "class baseactivity extends slidingfragmentactivity"
